Bees Need

Eleanor Burgess
January's meeting was all about bees! We had Eleanor Burgess, from The Beekeeping Ladies, give us a talk about Bees and how we can help them as gardeners.

The Beekeeping Ladies
Eleanor was full of interesting information - and no matter what question was asked, she knew the answer! We also found out about Bee Inspectors, created during WWII to check the bees were getting their own sugar ration!
Eleanor and her mum, Rosemary, brought along lots of honey and wax related products for us to purchase, as well as, packs of bee friendly seeds made up by Helen and Margaret for WoWWI.
