Meetings

An informative evening last Tuesday thanks to Tony who gave a demonstration on how to prepare a hanging basket and lots of other good tips for keeping our plants flourishing. Lots of lovely plants for sale afterwards too. Note for next time - take a wheelbarrow!!!!





















Next WI meeting will be Tuesday 15th May in the Vintage Hall 7.15 for 7.30 start, we have a visitor giving a gardening talk also selling some plants etc afterwards so don't forget your purses!!

Tea/coffee and raffle as always followed by the talk, then a "guess the vegetable" competition and one of Cheryl's super quizzes.

New members always welcome, £4 for the first evening.

We had great night last Tuesday with an informative talk by Phil Strange from Wessex water. Followed by a recognise the waterfall quiz and a water related craft session making some rather attractive fridge magnets, also an Easter egg raffle.

Hope you all liked our new "washing line" where we now display all the events and news from the federation.

Tuesday 20th February meeting.

We had an interesting night on Tuesday with an informative and entertaining talk by Sean McCormack of the Queens bodyguard, so many details and facts he was able to relay to us well done Sean

We followed up with a craft making session bringing out our creative sides.












In January we enjoyed learning to Line dance and had fun with a Who Am I quiz.
